Dana White Clowns Jake Paul With Opponent Suggestion After Mike Tyson
Jasmin Frank-USA TODAY Sports

UFC president Dana White loves to poke fun whenever he can.

Especially at the expense of someone who considers themselves a rival.

White recently gave his opinion on a possible future opponent for Jake Paul. Paul is currently set to meet former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson later this year.

“I just saw this thing on the internet,” White said on Pound 4 Pound podcast (thanks to MMA Mania for the quotes). “I reposted it where it says if he beats Mike Tyson, he’s going to fight Clint Eastwood next.

“Clint Eastwood’s 93 years old.”

Paul and Tyson are on the schedule for July 20 from Arlington, Texas. The bout will take place inside AT&T Stadium and stream live on Netflix.

White, who is a close friend of Tyson’s, added he can “do whatever the (expletive) he wants.”

“Mike’s a grown-a-- man,” White said. “I’m gonna stay outta Mike’s business. What Jake wants is Jake wants to make money. The people that follow Jake Paul don’t buy Jake Paul’s fights.

“So Jake Paul has to fight people who can actually sell pay-per-views.”

Dana White: Jake Paul Fought Someone His Age And Lost

White noted that the last time Paul went one-on-one with someone around his age, he was defeated.

In early 2023, Tommy Fury, the brother of Tyson Fury, scored a split decision over Paul. Since that time, he has bested Nate Diaz, Andre August and Ryan Bourland.

Paul owns wins over Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren during his boxing career.

Tyson is 50-6 with 44 knockouts in his career. His last live fight, though, came in 2005 with his last win coming in 2003.
