Wednesday night's Fast Break with Jon Scheyer broadcasted from Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Duke basketball head coach and host David Shumate began with a recap of Monday night's win at NC State and a preview of the rivalry bout between Scheyer's No. 9 Blue Devils and the visiting No. 7 Tar Heels at 6:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN).

Next, they took questions from a few Cameron Crazies in attendance. Considering the day's top Duke basketball headline was the commitment from NBA Academy Africa five-star big man Khaman Maluach, it's no surprise one student congratulated Scheyer on the gigantic recruiting win before asking about next season's roster outlook.

The 36-year-old Scheyer knows not to discuss unsigned recruits publicly, as that'd be an NCAA violation. But out of respect to the fan, who, like the masses on social media, must unapologetically enjoy multitasking between daydreaming about Saturday's Duke-UNC game and envisioning future rosters, Scheyer answered best he could.

Student: "First of all, I want to congratulate you on the big commitment today. Awesome news...With three really talented big men coming in next year, how are you going to be changing the offensive and defensive schemes to adjust for the sizeable increase in big men that we've got?"

Scheyer: "Well, I appreciate the question. I can't talk about any of that until everybody is signed and all that. But I can tell you we're excited.

"And I can tell you that no matter what, no matter who you have coming in, no matter what team you have, you always have to get them in person. You always have to get a feel for what they really do.

"Like, I can tell you that the four [current] freshmen, we knew those guys really well, but you get to learn about them when you're with them every day in the summer and in the preseason.

"And so, for us, to say exactly what we're going to do, I can tell you on Saturday what we're going to do — I can't tell you next year. We've got to figure out a lot more about who the team is going to be."
