The TCU Horned Frogs (19-9, 8-7) will travel to Provo, Utah on Saturday, March 2 to take on the BYU Cougars (20-9, 8-7). TCU is coming off a loss against Baylor. The Frogs will look to rebound as they looked completely off. TCU has had its ups and downs this season, but it has shown it has what it takes to beat some of the best teams in the nation. BYU is coming off a huge win against No. 7 Kansas. The game is set for 8 P.M. CT and can be seen on ESPN+. Both teams are currently 8-7 in the Big 12.

BYU has had a solid team this season, competing very well in the Big 12. They have been led by their guards, who have been a key factor this season. This will be the first matchup for these two teams this season. Both are looking to play hard and get this win, as they are both tied in conference play. I chose to highlight Jaxson Robinson in this article because he put on a clinic versus the Kansas Jayhawks.
Robinson stands at 6'7'' and 190 lbs. and is one of the most efficient players on the BYU roster. He has been listed as a potential first-round draft pick this season after having a breakout season. He shoots the ball really well, as he is one of the best three-point shooters in the country. He has impressive form and has the height to rise above defenders. He has been a catalyst for this team all season long. Robinson can shoot and score in multiple ways and has decent vision but is not a primary facilitator.
The only flaw that he has is that he is not a good rebounder, especially for his size. Robinson is also not consistent in his defensive efforts. TCU needs to slow down his offense if they want to be successful in this matchup, as well as take advantage of his lack of ability to defend and get rebounds. If the Horned Frogs can do this, they will be well on their way to a win.
Big 12 6MOY frontrunner Jaxson Robinson drilled 4/9 3PAs on his way to 18 PTS in BYU’s 76-68 win over Kansas last night at Allen Fieldhouse. The 21-year-old and 6-foot-7 wing puts immense pressure on opposing teams with quick fires in transition/off zooms/pin-downs. pic.twitter.com/UX0cSEKYsI
