The rivalry between the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes is one of the fiercest in all of sports, regardless of classification.

For the last 126 years on the football field, the two teams have squared off in what is routinely a deciding game in both the Big Ten and (now) College Football Playoff pictures.

Even in the NFL, the rivalry runs rampant, with Ohio State (48) and Michigan (37) fielding the second and fifth most players, respectively, on opening day NFL rosters this past season.

Now, one of those Buckeyes players - Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa - is being led by Ex Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, who took over as head coach in L.A. after bringing a national title to the Wolverines.

And in a recent interview with the New York Post, Bosa revealed exactly how he felt about his new boss.

“Great first impressions,” Bosa said. "I have a lot of confidence in him and the staff that he’s bringing around him. I think he seems like a really genuine guy, which you don’t find that a lot in coaches all the time. He’s interesting. He loves football more than anything. I think all he wants to do is win. The way he talked about his feelings toward this job and the future was pretty exciting.”

Certainly a glowing review from Bosa, who during his time in Columbus from 2013-2015, was one of the best players that Ohio State had ever seen.

And despite the background of the rivalry it is nothing but business for Bosa, who expects things in L.A. to make a dramatic shift now that Harbaugh is calling the shots.

“That’s an expectation for sure,” Bosa said. “I’d like to win Game 1 first, then we can talk about Week 2 and then Week 3. Sometimes getting caught up with all the Super Bowl talk and all the hype gets you unfocused and worrying about the wrong things when you should just be worrying about what’s in front of you."
