One of the downsides of turning the college football world upside down is that it puts a major target on your back. Deion Sanders enjoyed a near-universal approval rating among everyone in the NCAA last year before he took his talents, family, and recruits to Boulder, Colorado.

After weeks of proving the naysayers wrong, the pendulum swung in the opposite direction on Saturday afternoon when the Oregon Ducks blew out the Colorado Buffaloes 42-6. As always, Sanders took the setback in stride and continued preaching his message of positive thinking.

If fans need any more proof of how well-respected Sanders is in the sports world, they can check out his recent Instagram post. "Coach Prime" shared a video of himself meeting with Nike co-founder Phil Knight before Saturday's game.

Knight told Sanders, "I'm so proud of you, man. It's so good to have you back up here. I was proud of you as a player and a person, and I can't believe how proud I am of you as a coach. You're doing fabulous."

The two friends go way back, as Sanders was a signature Nike athlete throughout his playing career before reuniting with a new footwear and apparel contract earlier this year.

Luckily for "Coach Prime" fans, Nike recently restocked its Colorado Buffaloes merchandise, which includes the same apparel Sanders wears on the sidelines. However, online shoppers should act fast as Sanders' signature gear continues to fly off the shelves. Stay tuned to FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
