Seattle Selects LSU OL Anthony Bradford No. 108 Overall
USA TODAY Sports

LSU offensive lineman Anthony Bradford is the second Tiger off the board after being selected in Round 4 with the No. 108 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Bradford, who emerged as a key piece to LSU’s offensive line due to his versatility in 2022, spent four seasons in Baton Rouge before taking his talents to the next level.

The 6-foot-4, 332-pounder made 12 starts in 2022 with 11 of them coming at right guard and one at left tackle. It’s expected Bradford stays at guard once in the NFL, but he’s shown he can move around quite a bit.

He made 17 career starts while suiting up in the purple and gold with five of them coming during his third season with the program. In 2021, Bradford started five of his six games played with one of them coming at right guard and four at left tackle.

NFL Draft analyst Lance Zeirlein’s breakdown of Bradford: “Massive, scheme-specific guard prospect with plus power but obvious athletic limitations. Bradford has functional quickness as a pulling guard and can work from one block to the next with adequate timing. He can be effective as a single blocker but really shines on double teams, where he can help clear the pathway. His lack of lateral quickness and reactive athleticism can put him in a bind against one-gapping defensive tackles and sub-package rushers with short-area twitch. Bradford has the potential to become an eventual starter for gap and power teams.”

A dive into Bradford’s numbers during the pre-draft process:

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 332

Hand: 9 1/2"

Arm: 33 1/2"

Wingspan: 80 3/8"

40-yard dash: 5.08

3-cone: 7.84

Shuttle: 4.8

Vertical: 30"

Broad: 8'10"

The Tiger standout now transitions to the next level where he will begin his career in Seattle with the Seahawks to get things started. After a big-time final season in Baton Rouge, Bradford skyrocketed up NFL Draft boards before being selected in the fourth round, joining LSU EDGE BJ Ojulari as the first two Tigers picked in the 2023 NFL Draft.
