Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and it's important for music fans to have the right tunes in order. For R&B lovers, it's eminent that Feb. 14 is about celebrating love with a special someone, and the proper songs can set the mood just right. In recent years, artists like Daniel Caesar, Jhene Aiko, SZA and H.E.R. have carved out their own lanes in R&B and helped elevate the genre back to a popular state. However, there were artists who came before them and mastered the R&B game.
