Ben Affleck stars in new WynnBET commercial with Jennifer Lopez's mom

The 49-year-old Oscar winner directed a new commercial for WynnBET and starred in it alongside the likes of Melvin Gregg and Shaquille O'Neal. Most importantly, though, the two-plus-minute spot features Guadalupe "Lupe" Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez's mother.

Rodriguez appears around the one-minute mark enthusiastically playing the slots.

Affleck and Lopez—known as Bennifer to the truly dedicated pop culture surveyors—were first romantically linked in 2002. The couple became engaged in November 2002 but ultimately postponed the wedding in 2003 before canceling their relationship altogether in 2004.

Then, in the year 2021, Bennifer was resurrected in the rumor mill and eventually became Instagram official in the most epic fashion on J. Lo's 52nd birthday in late July:

Anyway, Affleck and Rodriguez were spotted in early June at Wynn Las Vegas for what we now know was this commercial.

"Guadalupe loves Ben and is happy that he is back in Jennifer's life," an unnamed source told E! News at the time. "They enjoy gambling together and have done it in the past. Ben had the opportunity to work in Vegas this week and she came out."
