Blake Shelton sometimes still can't believe he's engaged to Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani had a strong presence on The Voice's two-night Season 20 finale—a sweet video message to "Blakey" to celebrate his 10 years on the NBC singing competition series and a live performance of her single "Slow Clap" featuring Saweetie—and Blake Shelton was left in awe of his fiancée.

"I love it when Gwen performs, and I have to take a moment when I see her perform or hear her on the radio and go, 'Whoa!'" Shelton told Access after Cam Anthony from Team Blake was crowned Season 20 champion Tuesday night. "Sometimes, it doesn't dawn on me because Gwen is Gwen to me, but in those moments, she's Gwen Stefani, and her voice is so iconic. You know, it's Gwen Stefani! That's really all you gotta say.

"And so, sometimes it still shocks me that, you know, I'm engaged to her."

During Monday night's episode, a surprise video tribute was presented to Shelton—the last remaining original coach from The Voice's 2011 debut. "OK, so obviously you changed my life when I met you on The Voice my first season," Stefani says to start the nearly three-minute clip.

Stefani's first season as a coach was Season 7, debuting in September 2014, and she and Shelton became a couple after their respective divorces in late 2015. Their whirlwind romance became an engagement last October.
