Ed Helms confused by 'baby shampoo company' Johnson & Johnson offering COVID vaccine

Ed Helms received the one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, which recently had its pause lifted after blood clotting concerns earlier this month, and luckily did not experience any worrisome side effects.

But the 47-year-old actor was initially confused.

"It's weird. That's the shampoo company, right?" Helms said on Late Night with Seth Meyers. "Baby shampoo—that's my association with Johnson & Johnson. That's all I think of, so to think the baby shampoo company is helping save the planet is a little bit of a cognitive disconnect."

Meyers chimed in: "It's also weird to think that they eat at the same cafeteria. Like, the shampoo people and the vaccine people."

And Helms brought the bit home: "But I couldn't help wondering when I got the shot if maybe it was baby shampoo."

Helms also stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this week:

The Office alum is making the rounds to promote the new Peacock original series Rutherford Falls he co-created with Michael Schur (The Office, Parks and Recreation, The Good Place) and Sierra Teller Ornelas.

Helms also stars in Together Together, which hit theaters last week. Watch the trailer below.
