Schitt's Creek star Annie Murphy confesses she once licked Chris Martin's sweat off her hand

Alexis Rose would never be caught dead amongst the general population at a Coldplay concert, even after her humbling character arc on Schitt's Creek.

Annie Murphy, who played the world's most beloved spoiled brat for six acclaimed seasons, found herself in a game of "True Confessions" with Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the two late-night hosts had to decipher whether Murphy had really once licked Chris Martin's sweat from her own hand.

The 34-year-old actress painted the picture: she had an all-access experience at a Coldplay concert 10 years ago, years before she became a globally recognizable celebrity through Schitt's Creek, and she was three rows back from the stage when Martin ventured out into the crowd.

Fallon and Meyers were thrown off a bit when Murphy struggled to list her favorite Coldplay songs, but they were ultimately convinced when she emphatically admitted she wished this moment made it onto the Jumbotron.

"I didn't plan it," she conceded. "It was just a voice in my head that was like, 'You need to do it!' And I did it."

Murphy also had an interview segment with Fallon to promote her new AMC sitcom Kevin Can F— Himself:

The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native was a scene-stealer in all 80 episodes of Schitt's Creek from 2015-20. She starred opposite Dan Levy, Eugene Levy and Catherine O-Hara as the entitled Roses in the ground-breaking comedy, which Dan and Eugene co-created.

Schitt's Creek won a staggering seven Primetime Emmys—nine Emmys overall, an all-time record for a comedy in a single year—at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards last September, including Murphy's first.

Along with Kevin Can F— HimselfMurphy joined the cast for the second season of Netflix's Russian Doll.
