Taylor Swift flight en route from Japan for Super Bowl LVIII
Sam Greene / USA TODAY NETWORK

Taylor Swift‘s trek to the Super Bowl has begun, with the superstar singer leaving Tokyo to head back to the United States to catch her boyfriend Travis Kelce as he vies for his third Super Bowl ring.

Sky News reports that Swift told her fans, ‘We’re all gonna go on a great adventure‘ prior to leaving on her flight.

Swift played a concert in Japan just prior to the Super Bowl, highlighting her crazy travel schedule as she looks to support her boyfriend on the biggest stage. But she should be able to make it in time, barring any last-second snags.

Even the Embassy of Japan in the United States chimed in on Taylor Swift’s travel schedule, tweeting a press release that cleverly referenced three different Swift songs.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can now confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the embassy wrote on Feb. 2.

“We know that many people in Japan are excited to excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”

Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 following a series of events.

First, Kelce attended a Taylor Swift concert in early July, then he came away talking about the experience and his goal to woo Swift on his New Heights podcast.

In September, Kelce deflected several questions about his potential burgeoning relationship with Swift. Before too long, though, the cat was out of the bag.

On Sept. 24, Swift was spotted in the Kelce suite cheering on the Chiefs, and the two have been an item ever since.

Kelce will be looking for his third Super Bowl ring on Sunday with Taylor Swift set to be in attendance. He was also a part of Super Bowl LIV and Super Bowl LVII wins.
