The ultimate Feid playlist

Feid's ascent to becoming one of the biggest Latin artists might seem rapid, but it was a few years in the making. The Colombian superstar spent his formative years as a songwriter for acts like J Balvin, Maluma, and Anitta before scoring hits under his own name. Now, Feid has become a global sensation who proudly represents the culture of his hometown, Medellín, in reggaeton music. To look back on Feid's journey to success, here are 20 of his must-hear songs and collaborations.

Feid was instrumental in helping fellow Colombian star J Balvin become a global force. He co-wrote many of J Balvin's hits on his 2016 album Energia, including "Ginza" and "Sigo Extrañándote." J Balvin returned the favor later that year and featured on one of Feid's first hits called "Que Raro."

Feid also co-wrote songs for fellow Colombian star Maluma. In 2019, Maluma jumped on Feid's song "Fresh Kerias." Feid later joined Maluma for what became one of his recent signature hits, "Mojando Asientos." Feid notably filled his guest verses with slang from their hometown of Medellín.

To break through as an artist, Feid appeared on the Rich Music EP called The Academy. He formed what they called "the Avengers" of reggaeton with rising stars like Sech, Justin Quiles, and Lenny Távarez. "Quizás" became one of the biggest hits from the EP when reggaeton pioneers Wisin and Zion jumped on the remix.

Feid is rumored to have entered into a relationship with Colombian superstar Karol G. In 2023, they were spotted out in public holding hands multiple times. In late 2021, Feid and Karol G first collaborated on the sexy reggaeton banger "Friki." Last year, he also co-wrote her song "Gucci Los Paños."

Feid first made his impact as an artist on a global level in 2020. He teamed up with Puerto Rican singer Justin Quiles for the sentimental reggaeton song "Porfa." Feid and Quiles took turns begging their lovers to not walk out of their lives. The music video for "Porfa" has amassed over 214 million views on YouTube.

Reggaeton music is rooted in the Caribbean with connections to Puerto Rico and Panama. To stand out in his own way, Feid has used slang from Medellín, Colombia in many of his songs. The alluring reggaeton track "Chimbita" was one of the first hits where he started to globalize phrases commonly said in his hometown.

With his growing profile, Feid has used his platform to support the next rising artists. In 2022, he gave a big boost to two singers from Puerto Rico, Alejo and Robi. After hearing a preview of their song "Pantysito" on TikTok, Feid collaborated with Alejo and Robi on it. The music video for the sensual reggaeton romp has over 78 million views on YouTube.

Feid's sentimental reggaeton struck a chord with the world with his 2022 hit "Normal." In the heartbreaking reggaeton track, he sang about being haunted by the memory of an ex. With the reggaeton genre often relying on collaborations to create hits, Feid proved that he could shine on his own with the success of this one.

One word that especially went viral in the smash hit was "pirobo," which is Colombian slang for a person who is a loser or lowlife.

Like Feid, Mora was another artist who started out as a songwriter. The Puerto Rican singer joined forces with Feid in 2022 for his song "La Inocente." In the emotional reggaeton track, Mora and Feid traded verses about letting go of their exes after not being enough for them.

In 2022, the Puerto Rican artists started tapping into the power of Feid's Medellín swagger. Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna joined forces with Feid for his romantic reggaeton banger "Hey Mor." The word "mor" in Colombian slang is a term of an endearment for a partner or lover.

Another Puerto Rican artist Feid scored a massive hit with is one of his idols. Yandel, who is one-half of the reggaeton pioneer duo Wisin y Yandel, enlisted Feid to feature on his song "Yandel 150." In the enticing reggaeton romp, Yandel and Feid take turns encouraging their lovers to come out and let loose at the club.

Two more reggaeton pioneers Feid teamed up with were Zion y Lennox. The Puerto Rican duo featured on his lofty reggaeton banger "La Pasamos Cxbrxn." With Feid, Zion y Lennox used the Colombian slang for "chimba," which can mean having a good time. In the case of this song, the trio of artists sang about sharing hot and heavy nights with their lovers.

In 2023, Feid joined forces with rising Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko. She featured on the song "Classy 101," which became a global hit for both of them. Young Miko, who is openly lesbian, sang about her lust for women alongside Feid in the alluring bedroom banger.

Feid has shown his support for the LGBTQ+ community throughout his career. His LP Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum included the song "Prohibidox," where he sang about a forbidden romance. The music video for the sweet love song included same-sex couples in the mix. An especially heartwarming scene shows two men wrestling each other to the ground and embracing.

Feid embraced elements of American hip-hop music in his song "Le Pido A Dios." He teamed up with icon DJ Premier for the producer's first collaboration with a Latin artist. Feid's publicist, Albert Piedrahita, served as an A&R of sorts, bringing the two artists together to create the song in New York City.

Two reggaeton giants, Bad Bunny and Feid, finally joined forces in 2023. The Puerto Rican superstar tapped Feid for the hypnotic reggaeton track "Perro Negro" from his album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana. The title is a reference to one of the most popular clubs in Medellín, Colombia.

Feid has found more success by continuing to explore hip-hop music. He teamed up with ATL Jacob, who has produced hits for Future and Nicki Minaj, for their emotional collaboration "Luna." Hip-hop and reggaeton collide as Feid sings about longing for a past lover. The song was included on his Ferxxocalipsis EP.

Feid is also spotlighting the new talent from Colombia on the Ferxxocalipsis EP. In one of the standout tracks, he teams up with rising rapper Pirlo, who hails from Cali, Colombia. In "Cual Es Esa," Feid and Pirlo sing about getting the party started from Cali to Medellín and beyond.
