Here’s a look at the newest addition to the 2025 class and what stands out.
According to the composite rankings, Clark is the No. 703 player in the country, the No. 51 OT, and the No. 11 player in Michigan.
Clark amassed 18 offers throughout the course of his recruitment. The Badgers extended an offer in March, becoming the 9th school to offer the three-star tackle.
Offensive line coach AJ Blazek acted as the lead recruiter for Clark, and with the Michigan native giving his verbal pledge, Blazek has now earned his first commitment as a part of the Badgers staff.
Clark is now the second offensive lineman to announce their commitment to Wisconsin in the 2025 recruiting class, joining in-state tackle Michael Roeske.
Clark is a well-rounded blocker in pass pro, with good foot speed and a solid ability to move laterally in space. He also has a good kick step that allows him to cover some ground early. On top of that, he’s impactful in the run game, with the speed to meet defenders at the second level quickly.
Clark’s strength jumps off the highlight tape. The Dexter High School is incredibly physical when he gets his hands on a defender, often resulting in a pancake block or getting tossed to the turf. He also has good lower-body strength to pair with his quick feet to drive defenders back.
The Michigan native is technically sound and is refined in his footwork. He’s only going to get better when he adds more size and strength. Once he gets closer to the frame of a Big Ten lineman, he’s going to be a tough one to go up against.
UW is getting a high-effort player with lots of physicality in the Dexter standout. Clark has room to develop, and Wisconsin offers him one of the best situations in which he can tap into his potential.
With Clark’s verbal pledge, the Wisconsin football program now has nine commitments in the 2025 recruiting cycle, good for the No. 17 class in the nation according to the composite rankings.
