The Rock is having fun antagonizing crowds during this heel run in WWE.

On Monday, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was on the show to promote both WrestleMania 40 and his new skincare brand Papatui.

Jimmy Kimmel asked The Rock about becoming a heel again during his return to WWE. It's the first time Rock has been a heel in 20 years. Kimmel played a clip from SmackDown with Rock calling an Arizona crowd "cactus-loving crackheads."

"It is the best to go back to WWE in this 'Rock 10.0' version where I can become a heel and say the things that people want to say," The Rock told Kimmel.

The Rock and John Cena both made appearances at the Academy Awards on Sunday night. Kimmel joked that Rock should have gotten publicity for WrestleMania 40 by attacking Cena during his streaker comedy bit.

Rock: Right, but a half-naked John Cena isn't the guy who I want to attack in that moment

Kimmel: You want him fully naked?

Rock: I need him fully naked before I attack him [laughs].

The Rock is returning to the ring for a tag team match at WrestleMania 40 night one on Saturday, April 6. It will be The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.

If Rhodes & Rollins win, The Bloodline will be barred from ringside for Reigns vs. Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 night two. But if Rock & Reigns win, Reigns vs. Rhodes becomes a Bloodline Rules match, meaning that anything goes. Rhodes is attempting to finish his story by winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Reigns at WrestleMania.

The Rock was added to TKO Group's Board of Directors this January. TKO is the parent company of WWE and the UFC.

An appearance by The Rock is set for this Friday's SmackDown in Memphis.
