Watch: Will Zalatoris makes majestic hole-in-one at The Genesis Invitational

We, unfortunately, didn't get to see a hole-in-one on the 16th hole at the WM Phoenix Open last week, but Will Zalatoris just provided some tee-shot fireworks a week later.

During the second round of The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, Zalatoris stepped up to the par-3 14th hole and hit a laser iron shot that bounced short of the green and trickled into the cup for an ace.

The hole-in-one moved Zalatoris to six under par for the week and put him in a tie for fourth place. The 27-year-old is three shots back of co-leaders Jason Day and Luke List at the time of this writing.

This wasn't Willy Z's first ace on the PGA Tour. During the first round of the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club, Zalatoris drained a hole-in-one on the seventh hole. For many golf fans, this was their first introduction to the talented youngster. He went on to finish T6 that week, and he's since racked up five more top-10 finishes in major championships.

Zalatoris missed most of the 2023 season after undergoing back surgery, so it's great to see him back in action and hitting magical shots like this one.
