The past week, the PGA Tour hosted their second signature event in the Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Course. This event marked the return of golf great Tiger Woods and saw him make his first official PGA Tour start in over 10 months.

Unfortunately he was unable to complete the tournament as he withdraw during the second round due to illness. With Woods still trying to get back to full fitness and form, many are wondering what his schedule will look like and which tournament will he be playing next?

During his return at the Hero World Challenge, Woods informed that he would like to participate in 5-6 events in 2024 and play atleast one tournament every month. This would rule him out from less attracting competition of the tour. So when will fans get to see Woods play again?

A potential destination for Woods could be the Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in March. This signature event is considered one of the biggest golfing events of the year apart from the four major championships.

Another question that fans have in mind is whether Woods will be able to win again? His last tour victory came during the 2019 Zozo Championship which tied him for the most PGA Tours wins with Sam Snead. Sky Sports expert Laura Davies has backed Woods and believes he should signs of winning again this year.

Tiger Woods still eyes PGA Tour glory despite retirement rumors

Tiger Woods is not considering retirement from professional golf, even though he had to withdraw from the Genesis Invitational last week. Despite being forced to withdraw three times in his last seven Tour appearances, Woods is still determined to continue playing.

Despite facing continuous obstacles, the golfing legend remains determined to continue his playing career. “I am still passionate about competing, playing, I love being a part of the game of golf” he expressed before the Genesis Invitational last week.

During the Genesis Invitational, Woods finished the first round with a score of 1-over 71. With age catching upto him, the golfer will need work even harder than before he ever to add another title to his already legendary career.
