Seattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens landed on the 10-day injured list after suffering a shoulder injury that manager Scott Servais says occurred during the team's bench-clearing brawl with the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.
Torrens, 26, was not one of the eight ejected for involvement in the fight and appeared to be playing the role of peacekeeper during the brawl.

Torrens and Cal Raleigh have split time at catcher for the Mariners this season. Torrens has played in 36 games and is batting .222 with eight RBIs.
To fill Torrens' spot on the active roster, the Mariners selected the contract of veteran catcher Andrew Knapp from Triple-A Tacoma. Knapp previously played with the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates before he was designated for assignment by the latter in May. In 22 games with Tacoma, Knapp batted .198 with four home runs and 11 RBIs.
Seattle announced Raleigh as its starting catcher Monday against the Baltimore Orioles.
