Draymond Green takes jab at Timberwolves big during All-Star Game broadcast

The 2024 NBA All-Star Game provided a few unique twists, one of which included alternate broadcasts with different commentary groupings. Not surprisingly, when the broadcast of Taylor Rooks (host), Draymond Green, Charles Barkley and Jamal Crawford (sideline reporter) was announced for truTV, there was plenty of intrigue.

And the duo of Green and Barkley didn't disappoint.

The two provided their fair share of banter back-and-forth, but it was the Golden State Warriors forward who stole the show at a few points. One especially noteworthy moment came when Green trolled Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns after the big man scored his 40th point of the game with just under two minutes remaining.

"This is like the old Minnesota days; KAT got 40, and they're down 20," Green joked as the West trailed by 20 points.

It was a perfectly timed one-liner from Green. And for what it's worth, Towns can probably laugh at it now as well, considering the Timberwolves boast the NBA's second-best record at 39-16 and sit atop the Western Conference.
