Free agent shooting guard Jeremy Lamb is making a strong bid to return to the NBA by playing very well with Stockton.
Lamb, 31, is 6-foot-5 and scored 23 points as Stockton blasted the Salt Lake City Stars by a 142-99 count on Tuesday. He is averaging 22.5 points through the first two games.
Lamb signed a training camp contract with Sacramento on Oct. 2 but was waived a week later.
His last run in the league came with the Kings following the Buddy Hield trade with the Pacers in February 2022. Lamb appeared in 17 games with Sacramento that season, averaging 7.9 points.
The No. 12 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Lamb has also spent time with the Thunder and Hornets. His best season came in 2018-19, when he averaged a career-high 15.3 points in 79 games with Charlotte.
Guard Shaquille Harrison has reported to the South Bay after a stint in the NBA last season.
Harrison, 29, signed with the Lakers just before the playoffs last season after a 10-day deal with the Trail Blazers expired. He appeared in eight postseason games with LA after playing five for the Blazers.
Since entering the NBA in 2017, Harrison has also spent time with the Suns, Bulls, Jazz, Nuggets and Nets.
