Jazz Signee Omer Yurtseven Reveals His Hardest Player to Guard 1-On-1
USA TODAY Sports

It is no secret that the NBA is filled with some of the most talented athletes the world has seen. Night in and night out, players are faced with extremely tough hurdles and challenges to overcome when facing the greatest to play the sport.

The newest signing for the Utah Jazz , Omer Yurtseven, can be one to tell you this. Even without any crazy playing time or role in the NBA at this point, he’s still faced off in a few battles with the league’s best. Christos Tsaltas of Sportral encountered the Jazz’s newest signing in Xanthi, where he told fans about his physically demanding experiences of being matched up with Miami Heat F Jimmy Butler.

"Jimmy Butler. He was the toughest player to play 1-on-1 against him. He's very fast, very skilled and it was pretty rough for me."

We know all too well how much of a pest Jimmy Butler can be in practice. You can wind the clock back to his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves to recognize how much pressure he puts on his teammates in the gym. Jimmy is a competitor, something seemingly apparent in Miami just as it was back in 2018. Likely not a test for the faint of heart.

While Yurtseven likely won’t see that "Heat Culture” type of intensity during his future practices in Utah, Omer enters his third season in the league ready to take that next leap in his career.
