Hornets +10.5 at Celtics

7:30 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass

By Matt Moore

The Celtics are terrible against teams that don't cover. They're 15-24-2 against teams who are under 50% against the spread this season. The average line in these games is 9.9 and the average margin is 9, almost a full point of not covering.

I think Charlotte will lose and cover, so I will take them at +10.5.

Pick: Hornets +10.5

Suns -4.5 at Kings

10:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV

By Sean Little

It's a super tough time in the NBA to bet, so I have to back the team coming off a full day of rest that didn't just play a rough game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Sacramento is on the second night of a back-to-back at home. The Kings are 5-9 against the spread on a back-to-back and I am not confident in them without Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk.

The Suns will be desperate to bounce back after that embarrassing game against the Clippers and need to win to keep pace in the West.

Pick: Suns -4.5
