Ambry Thomas looked to have delivered a dagger in the San Francisco 49ers' Week 10 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was robbed of it by two teammates who very much did not have their heads in the game, and weren't even meant to be on the field.
With the Jaguars driving to seemingly cut the 49ers' lead to 20-10, Thomas stripped Christian Kirk of the ball on the six-yard line, recovered it in field and was not touched. He then surged 92 yards down the sideline and into the endzone to seemingly put San Francisco up 26-3.
However, much to the confusion of most at Everbank Stadium, the officials wiped off the touchdown for an unsportsmanlike penalty, which is usually a dead ball foul.

But they subsequently clarified that the penalty was for two 49ers' rookies, Ji'Ayir Brown and Dee Winters, entering the field during the return, which is classed as an illegal substitution.
It meant the ball was placed back at the 19-yard line.
Ultimately, though, the penalty only served to delay the inevitable, as the 49ers went 81 yards in seven plays, Deebo Samuel scampering in on an end around to make it 27-3 and put San Francisco in complete command.
