After Wilson was traded in March, perhaps the biggest question for head coach Pete Carroll and company was who would replace the nine-time Pro Bowler under center: Drew Lock or Geno Smith? After a lengthy battle for QB1 status, the latter eventually won the starting gig.
Broncos fourth-year defensive end Dre'Mont Jones had an interesting opinion on the Seahawks' decision.
"I wanted it to be Drew. We got drafted together. We came in on the same day and did the press conference. I wanted to F him up. I was rooting for him to win it so I could get a chance to hit him and talk some trash." - #broncos Dre'Mont Jones to me with a smile on Drew Lock

Lock was selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by Denver, while Jones was taken by the team in the third round. Barring injury or ineffective play by the Seattle starter on Monday night, the 25-year-old defensive lineman will have to settle for hitting and talking trash to Smith.
