Damar Hamlin responds to offensive Antonio Brown social media post
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin (3) Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Antonio Brown made Damar Hamlin the subject of some of his bizarre social media antics on Friday, and the Buffalo Bills defensive back did not appreciate it.

Brown replied to a post on X that asked people to name “a fictional character’s death that you have NOT gotten over.” The former star wide receiver shared a photo of Hamlin, which seemed to be Brown’s way of implying that it was some sort of hoax when Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the field during a game.

Hamlin decided to engage rather than ignore him like many others have done. He said Brown was looking for attention because he had been directly messaging Hamlin for over a year without a response. Hamlin shared screenshots showing his messages that he did not reply to.

Brown, of course, had to get the last word. He went off on Hamlin with an expletive-filled rant and shared another offensive image.

Brown loves attention, so he has aimed at just about everyone via social media. You can understand why Hamlin was bothered by Brown joking about his near-death experience, but Hamlin gave the former Pro Bowler exactly what he was looking for.
