Desmond Ridder Has Fun Response When Asked About Matchup Against Jets, Ahmad 'Sauce' Gardner

Desmond Ridder and the Falcons face off against his old UC teammate Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner this week for the first time in the NFL as Atlanta travels to battle the New York Jets.

A reporter asked Ridder this week if he had any friendly wagers with Sauce, and he quickly shut down the gambling talk.

"No, we don't bet," Ridder said bluntly when asked if there was anything extra on the line.

Ridder is also avoiding the Cincinnati chili right now as the demanding football season rolls on, with his Falcons in first place in the NFC South.

"Yeah, no I don't think any of us are touching that anytime soon," Ridder said about the cuisine.

FTN gives the Falcons a 33.1% chance of making the playoffs as they currently hold the tiebreaker over New Orleans with both teams at 5-6.
