Injury report observations:

  • Slay kicked off last week by not practicing for the first two days with a rest day/knee injury and played limited snaps against Dallas. The Eagles need him healthy for Sunday against Seattle and especially for playoffs, so this lingering injury is concerning. We'll see if he returns on Friday as a limited participant.
  • Linebacker Zach Cunningham is back on the injury report with a new knee injury. Cunningham did not play in Week 13 because of a hamstring injury, which is a reason why the Eagles signed Shaq Leonard. He did return vs. Dallas and is another player that we'll wait to see what Friday's report says as the Birds could just be resting him.
  • Right guard Cam Jurgens (pectoral) briefly exited Sunday's loss against Dallas but then returned to finish the game.
  • Safety Reed Blankenship (concussion) also left Sunday's matchup early, though he did not return. The Eagles have an extra rest day this week, so they're confident he will clear protocol by Monday.
  • Cornerback Avonte Maddox (pectoral) is still on Injured Reserve, however, he was spotted working out on the side during Friday's practice. He could make his return in time for playoffs.
