Ranking the Buffalo Bills' 2024 opponents

The NFL schedule is rumored to come out any day now. And with that in mind, the Bills have a list of notable opponents in 2024, so let's discuss them one-by-one from worst to best.

14. New England Patriots

Drake Maye will be fun, but the roster still lacks any game-breaking talent.

13. Arizona Cardinals

I'm looking forward to seeing Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. work, but the Cardinals still feel at least a year away from being in any sort of playoff conversation.

12. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle is going in a new direction and they're in this weird middle ground of probably being good enough to content for a playoff spot but not good enough to be a Super Bowl contender.

11. Tennessee Titans

I appreciate the Titans getting a ton of players and pieces to put around Will Levis to find out if he's the answer. However, that's a big question mark.

10. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts were a throw away from being a playoff team last season with Gardner Minshew. If Anthony Richardson can come close to his potential, the Colts can be very intriguing.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence is terrific, but I have serious questions about everything else going on around him, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

8. Miami Dolphins

Josh Allen has lost a grand total of two games against the Dolphins in his career and has 39 touchdowns against Miami. Until proven otherwise, the Bills own the Dolphins.

7. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are a great regular season team. Lamar Jackson is 0-4 in the playoffs when is opponent scores more than 13 points, and they lost their defensive coordinator and two key defensive starters. The Ravens will take a step back in 2024.

6. Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford was in the top five of EPA per play in the last six weeks of the season, and the Rams have two of the best receivers in the league. They'll be back in the hunt in the NFC.

5. New York Jets

The Jets will have one of the five best defenses in football, as well as Aaron Rodgers with added weapons on offense. They'll be a playoff team.

4. Houston Texans

The Bills will face their former receiver, Stefon Diggs, and a Texans team that will be a Super Bowl threat in the AFC.

3. Detroit Lions

The Lions were a few bad decisions by Dan Campbell away from making it to the Super Bowl, and they got better defensively in the offseason with multiple additions in the secondary and on the defensive line.

2. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers will run it back again with one of the best rosters in the NFL- they'll be a tough out.

The Bills have Kansas City's number when it comes to the regular season, but can they finally overcome the Chiefs in the playoffs?
