Tottenham boss Postecoglou: Phillips ready and available

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says Ashley Phillips is available for selection.

The defender is back in training after an injury recovery.

Postecoglou included Phillips in his matchday squad for last night's defeat at Brighton, though the summer arrival from Blackburn Rovers didn't make the pitch.

"He's training now, he's ready, he's available," said the manager. "He's there, mate, so if the opportunity comes we'll give it to him."

Spurs lost 4-2 to Brighton last night at Falmer stadium.
