Villa to try again for Sevilla defender Acuna

Aston Villa will make another attempt to secure full-back Marcos Acuna from Sevilla.

The defender, who impressed in the Europa League last season, was linked to the Midlands club in the summer.

However, Unai Emery was not able to secure his signature, and has since used Lucas Digne in the position to good effect.

Per Grada3, Villa have not forgotten about Acuna, while the player is also keen on the move.

Villa will make another bid to try and secure the Sevilla man in the winter, if he is available for a reasonable fee.

At 31, Acuna only has 18 months remaining on his contract with the Spanish La Liga giants.
