The agent of Yerry Mina says he's happy at Cagliari.

Simone Rondanini admits the former Everton defender moved to Cagliari due to the presence of coach Claudio Ranieri.

He told Sky Italia: "He's a great competitor, it's one of his great virtues. He loves being in camp every weekend to help the group, with the aim of being important and achieving team goals. People have welcomed him very well, it seems like he has been here for a long time."

"Ranieri is a magnificent coach and was a very important person for Yerry's transfer to Cagliari. He had confidence in his abilities and from day one he gave him a lot of importance.

"He expects him to bring security to the team and his teammates, after I think it was like this in these first few games. The team was much more incisive in defence."
