AEW Dark Elevation results: Dark Order vs. The Factory

Excalibur and Tony Schiavone were on the call for this week's AEW Dark: Elevation, taped prior to last Wednesday's Dynamite in San Antonio, Texas.

Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero) defeated Robyn Renegade (w/ Robyn Renegade)

Guerrero distracted Renegade at the onset, allowing Rose to sneak in from behind and go on the attack. At one point, the Renegade twins switched but there was no twin magic to be had. 

Guerrero broke a Barbie doll in half, signaling to Rose to go for the finish. She then delivered a Beast Bomb to Charlette to win this super quick match, adding a superkick to Robyn before the finish for good measure as she got back up on the apron. 

So technically, Rose defeated Charlette here but I digress.

Julia Hart defeated Skye Blue

Blue has entrance music and everything, so I could see her being part of the Ring of Honor roster as Tony Khan seems to like her.

Hart continued to lean heel as she's still rocking the eyepatch due to Malakai Black's mist. Also of note, Excalibur and Schiavone had a good chuckle at Hart's eyepatch being photoshopped on for the match graphic.

The end came when Blue charged in the corner and missed, leading to Hart clumsily pinning her with her feet on the ropes. This was fine, but could be better in a few years with more experience between the two.

- I must admit I'm not a regular Dark/Dark:Elevation watcher, but they shoot these matches from a low angle. I assume that's to take away from the darkened arena as the last time I noticed it was during the Revolution Buy-In opener between Kris Statlander and Leyla Hirsch.

Gunn Club (w/ Billy Gunn) defeated Aaron Mercer and Masada

As pointed out by Excalibur, Masada is a deathmatch legend of sorts and was making his AEW debut here. Sadly, he didn't use any of those tactics here, falling prey to the Quick Draw by Colten for the pin and win.

Top Flight defeated Chaos Project

Serpentico and Luther haven't won a match since last June, so it was safe to say I typed the match result before things began.

This was typical Chaos Project offense with Luther using his partner as a weapon against Darius Martin. I know these are the matches that a young team needs, but this wasn't very good. Dante hit a flipping stunner on Serpentico and Darius rolled him up for the pin.

Ruby Soho and Anna Jay defeated Emi Sakura and The Bunny

It wasn't that long ago when Soho was the free agent apple of AEW's eye, challenging for the AEW Women's title and later the TBS title -- both of which feels like an eternity ago at this point. 

Bunny and Sakura took it to Jay for a good portion of the match. They have teamed a lot lately, mainly in trios matches on Dark and Dark: Elevation.

The end came when Sakura and Bunny each had Down The Rabbit Hole cinched in but Soho and Jay reversed it with their respective finishers. Soho got the pin on Bunny after No Future for the victory.

Lance Archer promo

Archer came out for an in-ring promo and put over Texas before saying he would never live in a cesspool like San Antonio. He then blamed the fans (heard that before?) and told management they couldn't stop what is to come (heard that before?) before saying that everybody dies. He then beat up a planted fan who had a 'Lance Archer sucks' sign perfectly placed at ringside, taking him out with the Blackout.

They seem to be running out of creative for Archer.

Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & John Silver) defeated The Factory (Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solow & QT Marshall)

The fans popped early for a power vs. power spot between Silver and Comoroto.

The Factory worked over Grayson for a while, pulling Uno and Silver off the apron as he was about to make a tag. Uno eventually got the hot tag and took it to Solow, nearly getting the pin with Something Evil.

Uno and Grayson then hit some combo offense including an over/under that got two on Solow. The Factory nearly rallied as Marshall got a diamond cutter and a Comoroto spear on Grayson for a near fall Silver had to break up at the last second. 

Silver finished off Solow with the Spin Doctor to pick up the win. Grayson, in particular, looked great per usual.
