AEW Tag Team title tournament semifinals set

Two teams have advanced in the AEW Tag Team title tournament.

On Saturday’s Collision, Top Flight and FTR won their quarterfinal matches, defeating Ricky Starks & Big Bill and The Infantry respectively. As a result, the two teams will now face off in the semifinals.

FTR were the first to advance, defeating The Infantry after hitting the shatter machine on Shawn Dean. Later in the night, Top Flight defeated former champions Bill and Starks in an upset after Darius Martin connected with a tornado DDT on Starks for the win.

This coming Wednesday will see the first semifinal match take place when The Young Bucks face off against Best Friends after both teams won their quarterfinal matches on Dynamite. The finals will take place at AEW Dynasty, which will be held on April 21 in St. Louis, Missouri.

The AEW Tag Team titles were vacated after former champions Sting & Darby Allin defeated The Young Bucks in what was Sting's retirement match at AEW Revolution.
