The anticipated 1,000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling will see some of the promotion's most iconic Knockouts on the broadcast.

On Twitter, it was announced that the Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) will be part of the September 9, episode of IMPACT, as will Awesome Kong. All three women are former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champions, though Love was KO'd during her first title win. Sky and Love are currently working for the NWA. Kong retired from in-ring competition in 2021 and was inducted into the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame that same year.

The Beautiful People

The Beautiful People as a factor debuted in December 2007 as heels, focused on 'cleansing' the TNA roster "one ugly person at a time. Love and Sky have said that their vain blonde-barbie characters drew inspiration from Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, and played on the Disney film 'Mean Girls.' The group would go on to include Madison Rayne, Lacey Von Erich, and Cute Kip (currently AEW's Billy Gunn.) Despite their initial heel run, the group has been presented as faces during multiple runs.

Awesome Kong

Debuting as 'Amazing Kong' on the October 11, 2007, episode of IMPACT, Kong is considered one of the most iconic women in the company's history. While she would leave in 2010 for a brief run in WWE, Kong returned to IMPACT in 2015.  She would leave again in February 2016 and would go on to work with AEW from 2019 to 2021.

IMPACT 1,000 will take place at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. Tickets for the show can be found here.
