At AEW Full Gear , FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) faced Malakai Black and Brody King, RUSH and Dralistico, and Ricky Starks and Big Bill in a four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. In the end, Starks and Bill scored the win to retain the gold.

After the bout, Harwood took to Twitter and shared a picture that showed the wounds he suffered in the bout. He noted that he had a split-open forehead and a swollen eye. Harwood, who was a plane, quipped that he wondered what the business people in first class were thinking. He responded by saying, “Who cares? We put our bodies through all of that to call ourselves the best. For the love of the game.”
