Impact holding tournament to decide next Tag Team title challengers

A tournament will determine the next challengers for Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster's Impact Tag Team titles.

The tournament is set to feature four teams: The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz), Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham, Rich Swann & Sami Callihan, and ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey). It begins with The Rascalz vs. Bailey & Gresham airing on Impact this Thursday night.

The team that wins the tournament will get their Tag Team title shot at Impact Emergence on Sunday, August 27. Emergence is airing live on Impact Plus, Impact's Ultimate Insiders YouTube service, and Fite TV.

Andrews & Webster became the Impact Tag Team Champions at Slammiversary last month, winning the titles in a four-way match. Austin & Bey were the champions heading into Slammiversary. Interference by The Rascalz led to Austin & Bey being unable to retain the titles.

Swann & Callihan and Moose & Brian Myers were the other teams involved in the four-way match at Slammiversary

The Rascalz also interfered when Andrews & Webster retained their Tag Team titles against Austin & Bey on Impact two weeks ago.
