John Morrison announced for MLW Blood & Thunder

John Morrison is returning to Major League Wrestling. 

MLW announced Thursday on social media that Morrison will participate in Blood & Thunder next month in Philadelphia. It will be the first time he has performed in an MLW ring since 2018. He is being advertised for the show as "Johnny Fusion." 

Two matches are confirmed for the event thus far. Alex Hammerstone is scheduled to defend his MLW World Championship against Yamato and Jacob Fatu is set to wrestle Ben-K. 

MLW Blood & Thunder takes place Saturday, January 7, 2023, from Philadelphia's 2300 Arena. Matches on the show will be taped for future episodes of Fusion. The announced lineup is as follows:

• MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Alex Hammerstone defends against Yamato
• Jacob Fatu vs. Ben-K
