Mercedes Moné Debuts in AEW

One of the most talented stars in the entire industry, Moné opened tonight’s Dynamite. She makes an immediate impact for AEW, with very stars of her caliber across all of pro wrestling.

The former WWE star, who worked as Sasha Banks, last worked in May. An injury has prevented her returning sooner, but after an appearance during the All In pay-per-view this past summer at Wembley Stadium, it was only a matter of time before she officially debuted for AEW.

Moné cut an excellent introductory promo, touching on her past, her family, and passion for pro wrestling. She championed the AEW women’s division, particularly the Riho-Willow Nightingale match on tonight’s Dynamite, and officially announced that the CEO had arrived to AEW.
