Legend Mick Foley is highly motivated for a wrestling return in a deathmatch, and his reasoning comes down to being embarrassed of his size.

Mick Foley Wrestling Return Motivated Over Excessive Weight Gain

Mick Foley has been retired for about 13 years. Basically, WWE doctors would not clear him.

Despite being 58 years old and well past his prime, Foley has been vocal about one more match. In particular, he is looking to compete in a deathmatch.

His reasoning for the extreme idea was motivated by being overweight.  On his YouTube channel, Foley went over the desire for such a brutal contest.

“One day when I was really struggling, I realized that what used to be the best motivation for me was another match,” said Foley. “So. I always got in shape with the goal of having another.”

“You know, it’s embarrassing when you’re asked in the air an airport if you need a wheelchair. It’s embarrassing to be the guy who’s bigger than the chair on the airline.”

Many have left retirement for one more match. Ric Flair might be out of retirement before this story is published. That is how often it occurs.

In an odd way, the WWE Hall of Famer sees a deathmatch leading to a bette life.

“I will have a much better life. To me. it’s the difference between being a grandfather someday who can crawl on the ground and play with their grandchildren and a grandfather who sits and watches from the sidelines. And, I don’t want to be that guy sitting on the sidelines.”

The legend continued how he expects the match to be full of danger weapons like barbed-wire and thumbtacks.

So, does anyone else think Mick Foley making a wrestling return might not be the best call?
