Tommy Dreamer is prepared to put his career on the line in his efforts to become the next IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion.

On this week's IMPACT on AXS TV, Dreamer confronted champion Kenny King and offered King the chance to become a legend by retiring him at Victory Road. The show will take place on September 8, inside the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. This is the very building that Dreamer had his first match in, so it would be fitting if it was also the site of his last wrestling match.

Dreamer's Career

Best known for his time in the original ECW, Dreamer has competed for IMPACT Wrestling for years, and also had a lengthy stint as part of WWE. Dream has also produced his own events as part of his 'House of Hardcore' promotion.

This won't be the first time Dreamer puts his career on the line. In 2009, the ECW veteran said he would retire if he was unable to become ECW Champion before his contract at the time expired. At that year's Extreme Rules, the final day of his contract, Dreamer would win the ECW Championship from Christian in a triple-threat that included Jack Swagger.

IMPACT Victory Road

Dreamer's potential last match will make up just part of the card for IMPACT's Victory Road event next month. The show will see the Motor City Machine Guns once again get the opportunity to become IMPACT Tag Team Champions as they face The Rascalz's Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel.

Steve Maclin will take on Josh Alexander in a match that was supposed to be the main event of IMPACT Rebellion 2023 before Alexander went down with an injury. Bully Ray will face PCO in an Anything Goes Match.
