AEW is loading up the card for the March 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As announced on the March 20 episode, Will Ospreay will face Katsuyori Shibata. Ospreay called out Shibata on Wednesday as he noted that he was determined to prove that he could walk in Bryan Danielson’s shoes. Danielson beat Shibata on the March 16 episode of AEW Collision.

Additionally, Tony Khan confirmed that Swerve Strickland will face Konosuke Takeshita. This comes after Don Callis interrupted Strickland on Wednesday and made Konosuke’s case as a world title contender when Swerve called out AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.
